Privacy Policy

HostPrices has no sign-in and no user profiles. We collect only what the site needs to work:

• Page analytics. When you load a page we record the path, the referring site, your country and city (derived from your IP address by our hosting provider), your device type and browser, and how long the page stayed open. We do not store your IP address: it is combined with the date and hashed, so one visitor can be counted once per day and never identified.
• Affiliate clicks. When you click a “Get deal” or “Visit” link we log which link was clicked, the page it was on and a hashed form of your IP address, then send you to the provider.
• Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address, the page you signed up from and the time. Nothing is sent until the address is confirmed.
• Contact messages. The name, email address and message you send through the contact form.

The public site sets no cookies. Analytics are first-party and cookie-less; no data is shared with advertising networks. The browser may keep small preferences, such as a chosen tab or filter, in its own local storage, which never leaves your device.

The admin area, used only by the HostPrices team, sets a session cookie for sign-in.

Analytics and click records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer them, and at most 12 months.

We do not sell or rent data. We share it only with the services that run the site (hosting, database and email delivery), bound by their own data-processing terms, or when the law requires it.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete any data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. Write to us through the contact page.
